First Visit

Welcome to Happy Grins! We are excited to have the opportunity to meet you and your child. Their first visit will not only give us the opportunity to establish a relationship and begin to build trust with your family, it will also allow you all to feel comfortable with our friendly team.

Each child is unique, so likewise each first exam varies as we cater to your child's specific needs and expectations.

We will start out by reviewing your child’s medical and dental history. Then, a gentle but thorough examination of the teeth, jaws, gums, bite, tongue and muscle attachments will be performed. We will also demonstrate helpful tips and brushing techniques and perform a professional cleaning complete with fluoride treatment.

Dr. Patty will always devote time to discuss the needs of your child and tailor the treatment approaches that best fit those needs. From the beginning to the end of each visit, we will always do our best to ensure your child is comfortable and that all your questions and/ or concerns are addressed.

Free Infant Exam (0 to 3 yr)

Tooth decay is the number one preventable childhood disease. Prevention begins with good dental habits from a very early age. If you have a child younger than 36 months, we will be more than happy to provide a complimentary exam (cleaning, x-rays and fluoride treatment not included) and discuss how we can help you and your child establish good dental habits in order to reduce the risk of cavities.

Free Second Option

Do you have a question about a recent diagnosis? As a courtesy to new patients, we are happy to give you a complimentary second opinion. Please feel free to bring with you x-rays from another office during your initial visit.
